🇫🇮 Finland
Finland’s biggest MILSIM: four days of continuous play on a former Finnish Defence Forces training area, with dozens of off-road vehicles.
Battlegroup (previously known as TSTOS) is organised by the Finnish association Ehasa ry on the old Finnish Defence Forces training area ‘Halli’ in Jämsä. The 2026 edition ran from 22 to 25 July with 779 registered players and 73 registered vehicles.
The scenario is a civil war in the fictional country of Nordberg, with the Coalition of Nordberg facing the Northern Royal Guard and a civilian faction in between. Gameplay runs continuously with coordinated missions and off-road vehicles, and players come from across Finland and other European countries.
Jämsä, Central Finland is about 2,130 km from Sofia as the crow flies. Most players fly and rent a vehicle for the gear – check the organiser’s rules on transporting replicas before you travel. Always check the organiser’s rules on replica transport, FPS/joule limits and tickets on the official channels before you book.
