“The Fight for the Copper Forests” – a 24-hour forest MilSim in north-east Romania for around 400 players from Romania, Moldova and Italy, run by the Bad Brothers club of Botoșani.
Lupta pentru Codrii de Aramă (CDA) is organised by the airsoft sports club “Bad Brothers” Botoșani with the support of the county youth and sports directorate (DJST Botoșani). Every edition is played at the Codrii de Aramă leisure centre in Agafton, near Botoșani, where two rival armies meet in the forest.
CDA XII “Mercenaries-Reloaded” (19–21 June 2026) brought around 400 players from Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Italy; the 24-hour game ran from 17:00 on Friday to 17:00 on Sunday. The 2025 jubilee edition “The Border” also gathered 400 players from three countries. For CDA XIII the organisers plan about 430 places in three factions – Army (200), Rebellion (200) and Mercenaries (about 30).
Agafton, Botoșani County is about 610 km from Sofia as the crow flies. It is close enough for a team road trip. Always check the organiser’s rules on replica transport, FPS/joule limits and tickets on the official channels before you book.
